So, I am headed to Syria in a few days. I just picked up my visa from the Master's Office today, what a relief. For a moment, I was not sure the document would arrive on time...
I have two finals on Monday: Arabic and Islamic Political Thought. I also have seminar for Grand Strategy that afternoon, which I will not be prepared for at all. In any case, after that, everyone involved in ISS (international security studies) will have a bbq outside of Luce Hall. Afterwards, the GS 09 students will grab some drinks and I will celebrate my last night as a Junior. Wait, I lied, i will still be a junior because I have to take two other finals in Syria.
Yes, this is the rather awful part. i am going to forgo clothes and accessories for Terrorism books. Gosh, I hope no one in Syria looks through my bag because they will surely flag me as some sort of terrorist. Ah well.
Well, I am pumped! I just have a lot of last minute details that need to be taken care of before I leave!!!
